Maploc8’s Vehicle Monitoring solutions are built around the quality and reliability of our real-time tracking. Online visual displays of current vehicle locations, speed and distance travelled as well as start, stop and idle are all displayed without the lag or late reporting often found. We work continually to ensure our platform delivers the best possible customer experience.

Geofencing

Geofencing enables you to ring fence one or several areas of interest or concern to you. From the security of your overnight parked vehicles to the easy management of calls or site visits by your drivers. Simply highlight the areas on the Maploc8 system, set specific times if required and use either Alerts or Reports to inform you when your vehicle arrives or leaves the geofenced areas.

Working/Activity Reports

With over 40 user friendly reports covering various fleet operations, we believe we have the tools to assist management. Route History, Site Visits, Driver Overlaps, Vehicle Safety Inspections and Working Hours Performance are just some of the reports available on the Maploc8 system. Other activity reports can be taken from PTO activity on tankers, skip lorries, etc. Alongside reports we can provide a live on-screen indication when emergency lights have been applied (a useful feature for ambulance or heavy haulage operators).

Maintenance Reports

Vehicle Inspection (Walk-around)

Manage your daily walkaround and condition checks using the Maploc8 Driverlink app for your Mobile Inspection reports. Simply customise to suit your vehicle type. A fully traceable, cloud-based system stores all details from fault reported to repair and final sign off. Show operational compliance while staying on top of fleet maintenance and reduce costs on avoidable repairs. A useful feature for a range of hire business customers. As this feature is fully customisable simply adapt Vehicle Inspection to fulfil a quick pre-hire condition report requiring the customers signature on a phone or tablet to confirm and agree pre-rental condition, mileage or hours.

Driver Behaviour

The high purchase price and general running cost of company vehicles makes Maploc8’s Driver Behaviour feature more relevant than ever for today’s business users. It helps you to evaluate the quality of your employee’s driving habits which is known to have a direct link to fuel consumption, vehicle repair costs and maintenance. Cargo Temp Monitoring

Many vehicles are required to maintain cargo and goods at a specific air temperature and provide traceability of compliance. We have options for the customer which are all fully integrated with the Maploc8 system. We recently introduced a cost effective wireless Bluetooth option which is suitable for fixed body vehicles covering a wide and growing range of food delivery vehicles. Fresh, frozen or hot – we can keep you covered.

Alerts, Warnings & Reminders

Use the Maploc8 platform to automatically generate alerts, warnings and reminders. Information provided using this feature will save time and money by making monitoring more effective. There are over 30 types of alerts available and some examples include: exceeding speed limit set for the vehicle, entering a restricted area (geofencing), forgotten vehicle safety check and operating a vehicle outside normal working hours. Approaching a PSV, service or insurance renewal are common reminders also used.

Task Management

Add a third dimension to Maploc8’s vehicle tracking with Task Management. Use the Maploc8 platform to communicate with your drivers via the Driverlink app. Daily task lists can be pre-set on the office Maploc8 system or instantly sent to a driver when needed. Keep the office informed of daily progress as a driver simply opens tasks on commencement and closes on completion. Picture notes can be added by the driver and all details are held in the system for later recall. An excellent system to separate work and personal mileage is also available in the Driverlink app.

Fleet Efficiency

How many vehicles do you have? How many do you need? Do you need to reduce or increase your fleet? Can you maximise the use of underused vehicles and make savings? With Fleet Efficiency, the clever software allows you to preset your working hours in the system to enable you to monitor and compare overall usage of each company vehicle. On a colour-keyed display, a percentage figure for hours used within the working week is given for each vehicle enabling easy comparison. Simple but effective – or, as the name suggests, “efficient”.

iOS & Android Apps

Maploc8 have two apps suitable for you and your drivers. Monitor your vehicles conveniently when away from the office using our integrated Maploc8 FMC Tracking app.

For your drivers we have our Driverlink app enabling them to complete their daily walk-around vehicle safety checks. The Driverlink app also gives the option to use the task management system.
